I have always been fascinated by all living things, wild or domestic, living or extinct, large or small (or microscopic). I love creating artwork inspired by nature because I learn so much in the process; drawing teaches me to see and understand what I might otherwise miss.  All of my wildlife paintings are based on animals I have personally observed, photographed, and sketched from life, preferably in their natural habitat. I work primarily in watercolor and acrylic.
